Synopsis

Compton Acres is a privately owned garden in Dorset, it has five themed sub-gardens: an Italian garden, a Rock and water garden, a Heather garden, a Japanese garden and a less formal garden called the "Wooded Valley". The gardens are beautiful. There is a café and tea rooms with delicious cakes, I particularly love the Dorset apple cake. There is also a plant centre and a gift shop. This place is beautiful and whenever I need some time out to relax, I just make my way there and enjoy the gardens, the views and birds' songs. Its truly an amazing place to visit. In this book you will see lots of beautiful photos of the different gardens. I do hope you will enjoy this book but most of all that it will inspire you go and visit the place. Compton Acres is one of my favourite places in the area.
