How To Get Into Heaven and Stay Out Of Prison is a booklet by Dan A. Myers, MD, a psychiatrist who is a Christian, summarizing his experience teaching a 16-month theology course to 34 prisoners at Hutchins State Prison, located about 20 miles from Dallas, Texas. Dr. Myers discovered that his prisoners were not that much different from the rest of us. Except for life circumstances or God’s grace, most of us could have been in prison, and they out. The section dealing with the Devil’s use of substance abuse as a weapon to destroy those not protected by God’s armor (Ephesians 6:13-18) is particularly relevant for today’s young people.
