Synopsis

Trevor MacCormack was born in Dublin and moved to England in 1999. His experiences of loneliness, homelessness and depression led him to start writing poetry. He found this was a way of confronting his thoughts and fears.A few years back, Mack needed to visit his local Foodbank and through that became involved in a project that was called Meet Cook Eat. The purpose of this project was to encourage vulnerable people to see that they had skills that they could develop, and in doing so improve their self-esteem. For Mack, he asked for help with his writing. Receiving positive feedback from volunteers and other project attendees gave him the confidence to continue writing. This is the first volume of his poetry. Mack is still developing his writing. He is optimistic that his next volume will be called Looking Forward.
