Synopsis

Being adopted was never an issue for Kaya Masaki.
Her parents were loving and her extended family was always very close.
Adoption also wasn”t a secret. She was blonde haired and blue eyed and her parents were Japanese. Different didn’t ever matter to Kaya.

When Kaya got the results of her DNA test and discovered she had three siblings, the adoption still wasn’t an issue, but everything exploded when Kaya discovered that her birth mother tried to get an abortion. The ensuing emotional struggles that both Kaya and her siblings went through threatened to destroy the connections she’d already formed with them, but miraculously, those hardships only served to draw them even closer to each other than they ever thought was possible.

KAYA’S CHOICE is a book about how unforgiveness and tragedy can destroy lives and ruin relationships. It is also a story of how forgiveness and grace can redeem the worst situations and turn them into building blocks and stepping stones.
