Synopsis
This book is the story of a wildflower's journey of courage and endurance. The wildflower was growing happily in the forest until a gardener thought that it would look better in his garden. I wouldn't be wrong if I say that this book is based on true events. The idea for the book came when our daughter told us how hard it was growing up with the relentless expectations for achievements set by her Chinese mother and Indian father. As parents, we unwittingly presumed that we knew what was best for our daughters, perhaps not giving close consideration to their true needs, wants and happiness.Just like the wildflower story ends on a happy note, we too are better off from our shared experience. Love and care are best when free from all expectations.
