Synopsis

Human souls control the world, and they use humans as their slaves. They are the infinite souls, the immortal and spiritual part of a human being, and they are responsible for all human activity, including the moral and emotional nature of man, aliens, and, on occasion, animals. Still, typically animals are controlled by sensitive souls.Amal and Zora are two human souls. They compete against each other over the decisive exploit of human control, always looking for their ultimate Spark. They seek new hosts to enter them, to use, and to control them. Before the time, the souls were formless shadows, less than vapor, yet more than vacuum. They drifted from infinity to galaxies and from one planet to the next until they finally found earth. They joined with creatures of enormous size, unable to control and exploit them, but they learned. Later, they merged with the aquatics' bland and placid creatures, but they were no challenge to the souls. At last, around 1,800,000 BC, they found two babies with limited intelligence. They entered their fragile bodies and used them for their weird needs to sustain combat until the twins died. Then the souls controlled Sumerian kings, Britons, and Romans, and later, Zora forged a fourteen-year-old girl without scruples and no soul into a lovely, young compliant woman. In the future, they learn and adjust to humanoids and aliens in a sterile environment. They succeed there also.
