Sharde' O'Rourke, LPC, LMFT, LSATP, CCTP is a published author of two books. For over ten years, she has been on tenure as a licensed therapist specializing with African Americans, LGTBQ communities, and couples/relationships. She is the owner of The Mahogany Projek, LLC, Hope to Purpose, INC (Non-profit), The Barefoot Therapist, and also owns and runs an online self-help school. Sharde holds a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Over the years, Sharde has helped numerous individuals to realize who they are and take control of their lives. She offers people a safe environment to explore who they are, what they want to achieve, counter their fears, and optimized their best attributes. Having consulted widely with both individuals and companies on the areas of mental health and wellness, Sharde takes a creative approach to consultancy and offers custom self-help services and courses for the maximum benefit of a client from therapy sessions.
