Husband, father, pastor, speaker, hockey player, and triathlete... and now, an author. Drew Froese was born and raised in San Jose, California. In the fall of 2017, he moved to Virginia with his family, where he is the lead pastor at Real Life Christian Church in Chesapeake. He has been married to his bride, Amy, since 2005, and together they have 4 awesome kids: Makenna, Bailey, Bryce, and Adeline.

In Drew's free time, he enjoys hanging out with his wife, spending time with friends, playing ice hockey/exercising, and playing with his kids.

God called Drew to be a pastor in 2006 while pursuing a career to be a high school art teacher. He has a B.A. in Studio art, with an emphasis in teaching, a teaching credential, an M.A. in teaching, and a post-graduate diploma in Biblical and Theological studies.

Prior to Real Life Christian Church, Drew led "L2" (Love Jesus, Live Jesus), a community of young adults at Westgate Church where he was on staff for 11 years.

Drew has a passion for communicating God's Word in powerful and transformative ways, and he loves to think strategically about how we can engage in our faith with both those who love God and those who do not yet know Him.
