Synopsis

J.B. (Bert) and Benjamin (Ben)Taylor have been best friends and mischief makers since they were fresh-faced recruits in the Navy. Now, nearly 50 years later, they are both retired and living just a stone's throw apart as part of the Bennett family, either by marriage or by deep friendship.

Now, their wild ways are just memories, stories to be told at family gatherings for the entertainment of the younger generation.

However, deep in their hearts, mischief and mayhem still reign supreme... and they are determined to enjoy one last caper before hanging up their boots. They plan to don wings, take up their bows, (figuratively speaking, of course) and play Cupid.

Their targets? Samuel Bennett, Bert's nephew, and Sarah Taylor, Ben's niece. The problem? Sweet, soft-hearted Sarah lives quietly in Los Angeles where she draws fairies and frogs for a popular writer of children's books... and whose best friend is an imaginary fairy she's loved since she was four years old. Sam is a no-nonsense contractor who gave up the chaos of up-scale Seattle... and a greedy ex-wife...to bury himself in the forests of the Cascade Mountains near Poulsbo, WA. There, he licks his wounds (yes, figuratively speaking once again) and swears never to trust in love again.

It will take quite some effort to bring this crazy escapade to pass, but the elderly men are determined, even if it will require the assistance of other family members,

including that of a rooster, a cow, and a Rottweiler.

Shall we wish them luck?
