Synopsis

In the city of Infintia, pride is earned through strength and the traditions that bind its people together. When Ebin Mocnavolja wins the coveted Platinum Oar, he believes his path is clear: a life among his fellow Infintians. But beyond the city walls, the Mortal Realm is changing. What begins as a journey throughout Panancea's wilds quickly becomes something far greater. Alongside his companions, the loyal and unruly grouplings, they encounter beings long thought distant or mythic: Merki seers, Armadi hunters, stone Golems, and creatures shaped by powers older than the Mortal Realm itself. Yet the greatest mystery lies within Ebin. Language responds to him. Words bend, and meanings reveal themselves. Forces tied to creation and corruption alike begin to listen when he speaks. As whispers of rot and wickedry spread across the Mortal Realm, the companions find themselves drawn toward ancient places of power. Along the way, they learn a difficult truth: the same language that can heal and unite can also destroy, and someone, or something, is already speaking it. To survive what lies ahead, Ebin and his companions must decide their actions and the language they choose to speak. Because in the end, blades may win battles, but language shapes realms.
