Synopsis

""A Ryghte Goodlie Lyttle Booke Of Frisket Fancies Set Forth For Bibliomaniacs"" is a book written by Edwin Roffe in 1861. The book is a collection of short stories and anecdotes related to book collecting and bibliomania. It is written in a humorous and satirical style, poking fun at the obsessive and sometimes irrational behavior of book collectors. The title of the book is a nod to the decorative borders and frames that were often used in printing during the 16th and 17th centuries, known as ""friskets."" Overall, the book provides an entertaining and lighthearted look at the world of book collecting during the 19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
