Emotion, Affective Practices, and the Past in the Present is a response to debates in the humanities and social sciences about the use of emotion. Margaret Wetherell is Professor of Social Psychology in the School of Psychology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and Emerita Professor in Social Sciences at the Open University, UK.

Gary Campbell is an independent researcher based in Canberra, Australia, and is affiliated with the Centre for Heritage and Museum Studies at the Australian National University.
