This book is the first of its kind, with no known predecessor, and it aims to shed light on how and why some of Ricardo's writings were picked up and why others were not. À propos de l?auteur

Gilbert Faccarello is Professor at Université Panthéon-Assas, Paris, and a member of the research centre Triangle, École Normale Supérieure de Lyon and CNRS (UMR 5206), France. He is a co-founder and a co-editor of The European Journal of the History of Economic Thought (London: Routledge) and is presently chairing the ESHET Council (European Society for the History of Economic Thought).

Masashi Izumo is Professor at Kanagawa University, Yokohama, Japan. He is a committee member of the Ricardo Society (Japan) and council member of the JSHET (Japanese Society for the History of Economic Thought).
