À propos de l?auteur

Anissa Taun Rogers, PhD, MSW, MA, LCSW, is Professor of Social Work at the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon, where she serves as the Director of the Social Work Program. She teaches courses across the social work curriculum as well as courses on the body, gender, human sexuality, international social work, and suffering and death. She is also registered, with her dog, Sookie, as a pet therapy team, working primarily with older adults and hospice patients. Before finding her way to social work, Dr. Rogers studied psychology, in which she earned undergraduate and graduate degrees. After receiving her MSW and PhD in social work, Dr. Rogers began her career in undergraduate social work education and clinical practice. In addition to teaching, her main clinical and research interests are gender, sexuality, gerontology, mental health, and end-of-life care.
