Synopsis
""Two Family Mothers"" is a novel written by Marie Sophie Schwartz and published in 1872. The story centers around two women, Mrs. von Berg and Mrs. Werner, who are both mothers and neighbors. Mrs. von Berg is wealthy and has a large family, while Mrs. Werner is poor and has only one child. Despite their differences, the two women become close friends and support each other through the challenges of motherhood. However, their friendship is tested when Mrs. von Berg's son falls in love with Mrs. Werner's daughter, leading to a conflict between the two families. The novel explores themes of motherhood, friendship, and social class, and offers a glimpse into the lives of women in 19th century Germany.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
