In 2007, he became the first Australian author to win six children's choice awards in one year for Just Shocking! Bill Hope is an artist and illustrator living in the Blue Mountains just outside of Sydney. He has published multiple illustrated books and has ongoing representation through the Lost Bear Fine Art Gallery. His graphic novel An Interior Life won the Golden Ledger award for Australian Comics.
