The Book Of Daniel: A Literal Translation And Commentary. - Daniel chronicles the time from Nebuchadnezzar to the return of the Jews to Jerusalem. It also chronicles the 4 empires that would exist until the final destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. - Much care has been taken to carefully map the progression of the 4 empires of late Jewish history starting with the Babylonian Empire and ending with the final destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans. - It is noteworthy that chapters 11 & 12 contains a section of the prophecy that scholars attribute to the coming "End-Times" and "the rising of the Antichrist." However, proper research that uses no preconceptions shows that it actually reveals the time period from Antiochus Epiphanies to "The Wars of the Jews" and the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
