Maria Dannessa Delost, PhD, MT(ASCP) has been Program Director at Youngstown State University for more than 20 years, and has been published in Clinical Laboratory Science and the American Journal of Clinical Pathology, among others. She previously was author of Introduction to Diagnostic Microbiology: A Text and Workbook. She has been a Distinguished Professor in Teaching twice, and has been involved in a broad array of community service and teaching initiatives throughout her career. She has developed curriculum in MLT and other programs, and created online courses, in addition to working in the classroom and lab.
