Synopsis

Family matters! The Scarlet Witch's loyalties will be tested when an enemy of the Kree/Skrull Empire falls through the Last Door, desperate for help avenging their fallen comrades. Will Wanda honor the commitment she made to helping those in need? Or will her love for her son Wiccan and his husband, Hulkling - who happens to be the emperor of that Empire - triumph over all? Then, a familiar figure appears at Wanda's shop, and it seems rumors of his death have been greatly exaggerated. But does he come as friend or foe? And why has a corner of Oklahoma been transformed into the Emerald City?! Plus: The magic-hating Hexfinder has sworn vengeance on all witches and won't stop until Wanda is a trophy on her wall! Prepare for a battle between chaos magic and alchemical might! Collecting SCARLET WITCH (2023) #6-10.

Steve Orlando made a name for himself at DC Comics, writing Wonder Woman, various Batman titles and Martian Manhunter. His Midnighter series and its sequel Midnighter and Apollo were nominated for a GLAAD Media Award. Orlando contributed to Marvel’s Voices: Pride and returned to the intersection of super-heroics and horror with the Darkhold storyline.

Sara Pichelli worked in the animation industry as a storyboard artist and character designer before taking a chance in the comics business. After breaking in in her native Italy, she was a layout assistant for David Messina on Star Trek for IDW. In 2008, she was one of the winners of the ChesterQuest International Talent Search and has since worked for Marvel Comics on such titles as NYX, Runaways, Eternals, X-Men: Pixie Strikes Back and Namora. She joined writer Brian Michael Bendis on Ultimate Spider-Man, and together the pair introduced the new Spider-Man, Miles Morales, in the pages of Ultimate Fallout and Ultimate Comics Spider-Man. They continued Miles’ adventures in Spider-Man, and paired him with Peter Parker in Spider-Men and Spider-Men II. Pichelli reunited with Bendis on Guardians of the Galaxy.
