Iman Vellani is a Canadian actress of Pakistani origin, well-known for portraying Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), the protagonist of the Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel in 2022 and is set to reprise the role in the Marvel Studios film The Marvels in 2023. Most of all, Iman hjas always been a huge fan of Marvel comics, and when Marvel heard she might be keen to write some comic adventures herself, they leapt at the chance for her put her stamp on the comic version of the character she’s brought to such vivid life in the Ms. Marvel Disney+ series. And the results have been even better than they’d hoped—the depth of her knowledge of the characters and her passion for their stories was immediately both clear and contagious!
