Synopsis

From Jack Purcell: "Several years ago I used to amuse myself between doing other things by answering questions on a Question/Answer site. Over the years I somehow managed to build up 15,000 answers to every sort of question imaginable, many of which were inappropriate or off-the-wall enough to forever have them banning me from the site. I’d send them an apology promising never to do it again, they’d restore my membership, and in no time at all some pencil-necked stuffed-up questioner would report me again and get me banned. But while all this was going on, Jeanne was religiously copying and pasting the stuff, saving it for her own incomprehensible reasons."

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

From Jeanne Kasten: "I've culled from the 15,000 entries the most thought-provoking and humorous passages that Jack wrote for anyone who wants to be entertained or stimulated by his unique way of looking at the world. ("Old Jules" was a pseudonym he used after reading the book of the same title by Mari Sandoz because he believed he had been Old Jules in a previous life.) Jack Purcell also wrote: The Lost Adams Diggings, Myth, Mystery and Madness, Hell Bent for Santa Fe: The Texan-Santa Fe Expedition of 1841, Desert Emergency Survival Basics, and Poems of the New Old West. His previous blog entry books for 2004, 2005, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014-2018 are also published on Lulu.com. His blog can be found at http: //sofarfromheaven.com.
