Ian Hurd is Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the International Studies program at Northwestern University, Illinois. He is an award-winning teacher and researcher on international law, politics and international relations. He has written several books on the UN Security Council and is co-editor of The Oxford Handbook of International Organizations (with Jacob Katz Cogan, 2016).
