This Bible-based children's devotional follows the people and events mentioned in the "people of faith chapter" of Hebrews 11 in the Bible. The goal of this book is to help parents introduce and teach their children about (1) the different faith-based people and events the Bible talks about and (2) what faith in God is all about. The book is simple and easy to read, with fun and humorous illustrations to help capture your child's attention and generate discussion about what is going on in each story.

À propos de l'auteur
Joel Partain is an illustrator and cartoonist who has several years of experience working with churches (and even worked as a full-time youth minister for a few years). However, it wasn't until a cold, arctic front hit his home in Montana that he decided to stay home and start illustrating his first Bible-based children's book. Now he wishes he would have started doing this sooner. Joel started his illustrating career in kindergarten, where all the boys (and even a few girls) in his class wanted a copy of a bat he drew with a blue crayon. From there, he has drawn illustrations and cartoons for various advertisements and was the cartoonist for his high school newspaper. Joel's talent in illustration played a vital role in the love letters he sent to his future wife, who agreed to marry him in 1995. Joel currently lives in western Montana with his wife and four little girls, who bring lots of life, joy, and inspiration. God has been amazing and gracious in Joel's life. Joel still thoroughly loves to draw, thinks cheap copy paper is the best to draw on, hates mechanical pencils, and watches cartoons with his kids to further his education.
