The Enigma of Life was based upon a discussion led by the author, in the fall of 1913, in the columns of theN ew York Times. The Golden A ge ofF aith andF ilth was first published without notes, and with a few minor deviations from the reading of the authors manuscript in theN ew York Truth Seeker forO ctober 31, 1914.
