This book explores the various challenges to the importance of the individual in the face of scientific and technological advancements. The author delves into the interplay between the individual and society, emphasizing the importance of moral judgment and the need for a deep sense of personal responsibility. By examining the relationship between democracy and Christianity, the author highlights the shared values of justice, equality, and the inherent dignity of every human being.
