A moving tale of faith, family, and quiet courage, St.
Cuthbert's Church explores how a choosing heart can redefine a life. This intimate novel follows a pastor, his wife, and their daughter as love, duty, and belief collide and heal.
Set against a small-town church world, the story blends personal sacrifice with moments of grace, inviting readers to witness how faith can guide even the hardest choices. Through intimate scenes and warm, observant narration, it asks what it means to serve others and to love well when temptations and doubts press in.Les informations fournies dans la section « Synopsis » peuvent faire référence à une autre édition de ce titre.
This book was originally published prior to 1923, and represents a reproduction of an important historical work, maintaining the same format as the original work. While some publishers have opted to apply OCR (optical character recognition) technology to the process, we believe this leads to sub-optimal results (frequent typographical errors, strange characters and confusing formatting) and does not adequately preserve the historical character of the original artifact. We believe this work is culturally important in its original archival form. While we strive to adequately clean and digitally enhance the original work, there are occasionally instances where imperfections such as blurred or missing pages, poor pictures or errant marks may have been introduced due to either the quality of the original work or the scanning process itself. Despite these occasional imperfections, we have brought it back into print as part of our ongoing global book preservation commitment, providing customers with access to the best possible historical reprints. We appreciate your understanding of these occasional imperfections, and sincerely hope you enjoy seeing the book in a format as close as possible to that intended by the original publisher.
The TURN ofT he TIDE WF you dont get the call you neednt come back here, said my wife to me as I stood upon the door-sill, bag in hand, and my hard-bought ticket in my pocket. Well, dear one, I would be sure of it if they could only see the perquisite that goes along with me. You must be more serious, Tom, if you expect great calls; but come inside a minute till I say goodbye. When you brought me first to Canada we had half a dozen good-byes to every one farewell. Goodbye again, and if they dont call you they will deserve what they lose. Thus spoke my wife, and thus was I despatched on the mission that was big with moment.
