Any further study of the sciences, directly or indirectly connected with housewifery, may be carried on by means of the references suggested throughout the book. Because of the many requests from former students, who are now teachers, for a book that brings housewifery topics within one cover, the author offers these suggestions from her experience. It is hoped that the outline of courses, the bibliography, and the sug gestions for laboratory supervision will meet the need so often expressed by teachers.
