This little Manual has been prepared to meet the requirements of Business men and to promote interest in the maintenance and use of Statistical records in commercial undertakings, so that they may form part of the machinery of scientific management. The book does not pretend to solve the many problems which confront the business man, as many of these are clearly peculiar to each individual case, but is intended as a guide to the methods to be used by those who may be interested in the subject.
