A life of George Fox, the Quaker founder who aimed to make religion as free as sunlight and air. This biography follows his daring work, long journeys, and lasting influence on spiritual life.
The book traces a young man who urged a personal, transformative faith and a church where every person could take part. It explores his trials, travels, and the way his ideas shaped Friends, even through periods of intense persecution and public scrutiny. Beyond the battles and the prisons, it shows how Fox learned to express his message clearly and humbly, guiding others toward a living faith.
