Excerpt from The Psychic Structures at the Goligher Circle

The Work of Dr. W. J. Crawford A Note by the Editor of Light As the records contained in Dr Crawford''s first book, The Reality of Psychic Phenomena, made their first appearance in Light, which led to my personal acquaintance with the author, who, just prior to his tragic death, desired that I should assist in preparing the present work for the Press, I may perhaps be allowed a few prefatory words.

Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the fascinating realm of psychical research, specifically exploring the physical phenomena associated with spiritualism. Set against the backdrop of early 20th-century scientific inquiry, the author meticulously documents a series of experiments conducted at the Goligher Circle, a renowned group known for their mediumistic abilities. Central to the investigation is the concept of "psychic structures," invisible emanations from the medium's body believed to be responsible for levitating tables, producing raps, and causing other physical manifestations. The author employs a range of methods, including force-registering apparatus and even photography, to understand the nature and mechanics of these structures. Intriguing observations regarding the tangibility, shape-shifting abilities, and potential connection to materialization phenomena are presented, offering a glimpse into a world where the boundaries between the physical and the psychical blur. Through detailed accounts of experiments, observations, and insightful analysis, the author challenges conventional notions of reality and invites readers to consider the possibility of a deeper connection between the human mind and the external world. This book's exploration of psychic structures not only sheds light on the complexities of physical mediumship but also raises profound questions about the nature of consciousness and the potential existence of forces beyond our current scientific understanding. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N de rf. du vendeur 9781330277393_0
