The autobiography ot Karl DItters von Dlttersdorf, which was dictated from a sick-bed, and finished only two days before the artists death, has a pathetic side, apart from the Interest due to the main story of his career. It was originally published, with some few omissions and alterations, by Messrs. Breltkopf and Hartel, at the beginning of this century, for the benefit of Dittersdorf swidow. This act of kindness was well bestowed.
