First printing of first edition, with original silver print frontispiece photo tipped in showing corona of the sun in four phases, plus ten other illustrations, some folding, and including a map of the region near the eclipse station. Book is clean, crisp, and tightly bound. Front board has a small patch of dullness at corner. Otherwise the book is in excellent condition.
