Excerpt from Surgery of the Eye: A Hand-Book for Students and Practitioners
The following plan has been pursued throughout the book First, before describing each group of operations, we have dis cussed the disease for the relief of which they are intended, and have given clear indications for the selection of the proper procedure in any given case. A detailed description of the steps of each operation then follows, with a list of all the instruments required. After this the complications, that may occur at the time of operation and later, are taken up together with the post operative care of the patient.
