Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book reviews the argument for the non-existence of the resurrection of Jesus by dissecting its flaws, recounting the original arguments, and presenting a refutation of each point. The author contends that the resurrection story was never uniformly supported by all of the disciples and points to inconsistencies in the narratives of the Gospels. Furthermore, the author argues that the church fathers who wrote after the time of Christ distorted the resurrection accounts in order to prop up the new religion. The author also suggests that none of the so-called "proofs" of the resurrection come from the original disciples of Christ and discusses how the disciples were likely just as shocked as anyone else to find the tomb empty. The book concludes with a discussion of the evolution of Christian apologetics related to the resurrection, including a thorough analysis of the arguments of modern apologists.
