Fortunately, knowledge has a habit of growing and of propagating its kind, and my book, in consequence of this, became a back number .T he subject of Electro-C hemistry is so ramified and specialised that it was impossible for one man to make a survey of the whole field. This fact is the genesis of the present series in which those who have accurate and intimate knowledge of the various branches of electro-chemistry have undertaken the work for which they are particularly qualified. Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book explores ozone, an allotrope of oxygen, and its myriad properties and modes of formation, drawing on scientific journals and the author's personal research. Ozone, the author posits, is not a substance unique to the modern world, but rather an ever-present gas with a storied history. The author delves into the scientific experiments and discoveries of ozone's properties and characteristics, revealing its chemical instability and powerful oxidizing abilities. The author then examines the natural occurrence of ozone, exploring its presence in the Earth's atmosphere at various altitudes and its role in atmospheric processes. They also discuss how human processes such as electrical storms and combustion can influence ozone levels. The multifaceted nature of ozone and its dynamic relationship with its surrounding environment come into sharp focus.
