Some of the stories belong to the more primitive, the simplest, form of folk-tales, others are more complex in thought and plot. None are beyond third-year children. Every story has been dramatized, read, and retold by the pupils in several schools. The simpler stories are to be read and passed over. Some of the others may well be worked over and presented as finished plays in the school-room or for more formal entertainments.
