Synopsis

This book is a play about a couple who, after six months of marriage, realize they made a mistake. The author uses the husband, Cyril, to voice frustrations about his wife's new habits he finds insufferable, such as answering double acrostics in society journals. Meanwhile, the wife, Grace, uses her dialogue to express grievances about her husband's new habits, namely his smoking. Through the dialogue between the couple, the author explores the idea that sometimes even the most carefully planned marriages can end in divorce. This book is a great read for anyone who has ever been through a difficult marriage or wondered about the possibility of divorce.
