A fast, funny coming‑of‑age adventure about a scrap of a hill, a cave, and a band of Scouts. It blends mischief with old‑fashioned courage as the boys grow up together.
In this tale, a group of eight boys splits between bandits, Indians, and Boy Scouts, all while chasing fun, loyalty, and the thrill of the outdoors. The setting centers on Bob's Hill and a hidden cave, where plans are made, stories are told, and leadership is tested.
The book follows their summer mischief, small victories, and big scares—from traversing dunes and chasing legends to a surprising real‑life rescue that teaches them the weight of responsibility and teamwork.
Ideal for readers who enjoy light, action‑packed adventures with a focus on friendship and growth.

Massachusetts, which, you know, is a part of the United States of A merica, and look up in the northwest corner, you will find some funny-looking black marks and the word Greylock. Greylock is a mountain, and a mountain is a high elevation of land. My geography says so. Skinny says that the marks look more like our cave than they do like a mountain, and that is what we all think, but I suppose it is the best that the geography folks can do. A nyhow, Greylock is the highest mountain in Massachusetts, which, if you dont know, the teacher ought to make you stay after school.
