Synopsis
This book explores the history of one of Iowa's significant historical landmarks - the Old Military Road. Built to connect Dubuque with Iowa City, the Old Military Road was initially used by soldiers but was soon adopted by settlers traveling to Iowa City, which was the new capital of the territory.
