Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book, written by a financial expert, expresses concern over the financial trends and practices in Britain around 1898. Particularly alarming was that Britain's exports and invisible exports appeared to no longer be enough to pay for imports. This situation, last seen in 1877 and followed by a calamitous year in 1878, is something that the author believes should be examined, inquired into, and if needed, precautions should be taken to prevent negative financial outcomes. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
