Synopsis

This book posits that adherents of any faith or creed have not experienced the joys, love, and wisdom of the divine and have instead made the Christian journey a dismal procession. The author asserts that the heavenly truths of the divine are seldom heard or shared and that orthodox Christianity has created a spiritual stagnation that has led its adherents to become ill both physically and mentally; with many experiencing the effects of mythology in their thought and action. Spiritual misconception has led to humanity living in dark and dreadful personal hells, where they invite in unclean spirits and live in misery and sickness. The author identifies and describes many of these hells and the unclean spirits that occupy them. The book suggests that humanity can overcome the evils that have been invited into their lives by coming to understand the laws inherent in their physical, mental, and spiritual nature. This can be achieved through the practice of discipline, meditation, and a connection with the divine spirit within. The author emphasizes that it is possible to become masters of spiritual suffering and to live a healthy, joyful, and abundant life on earth, leading to greater spiritual growth in the afterlife.
