Despite their phylogenetic significance, the embryology of the Pedipalps is poorly understood. The author conducted detailed morphological research on the development of the Pedipalps, which are among the least-studied groups of Arachnida. The study presents a detailed account of their embryological development, describes various stages of development of Admetus pumilio through the use of both surface views and cross-sections, comparing their development to that of other arachnid groups. The examination of the embryos covers the development of organs including the brain, ventral ganglion cord, coxal gland, lateral organ, digestive system, muscles, heart and lungs, mapping and comparing the different stages of development and their maturation. These findings contribute to the understanding of the evolutionary relationships between the Pedipalps and the other orders of Arachnida, and provides new insights into the evolution of arthropods.
