My Dear Sir -i am in receipt of your communication informing, me of your intention to print certain material relating to the Pepper, Platt, Taylor and Newbold families, and asking me to furnish to you any matter that I may have concerning the Platt family.

It affords me pleasure to co-operate with you in this enterprise, and I therefore enclose herewith my manuscript notes upon the Platt family record, for you to use in full or in part, or in any shape or form that you may deem beat. Much of the material therein contained was communicated to me by Miss R. Hooper, Trenton, N. J.
