This work is intended to provide Students and others with a knowledge of the actual operations performed in the Shipyard during the construction of a warship.
Great care has been taken to include as many as possible of the important operations performed both during the construction and fitting-out of the ship, and embraces a course of lectures given to Cadets of Naval Construction when Instructor at the Royal Naval College, Devonport.
