The book examines the history of the use of OCS sand and gravel resources and discusses the current legal and regulatory framework governing their use. It also identifies the potential environmental impacts of OCS sand and gravel mining and proposes measures to mitigate these impacts. Finally, the book assesses the economic benefits of OCS sand and gravel mining and discusses the potential for using these resources to address the problem of coastal erosion.
