Excerpt from The Technology Rew, Vol. 2
But the gem of the whole is the little Romanesque cloister placed on the south side of the church and sur rounded by the walls of the Archbishop's Palace. This is one of the most interesting examples of monastic archi tecture in this part of France, since within its small area a great variety of carved capitals, piers, twisted and coupled columns, and arch decorations is still in fairly perfect con dition. Last summer the arches of one side required the assistance of wooden supports, but it is to be hoped that all necessity for temporary braces will soon be removed and the whole arcade properly restored.
