Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book is a compilation of observations made with the Northumberland telescope and other instruments at the Cambridge Observatory in the year 1842. The observations include the right ascensions and polar distances of the sun, the moon, and some of the planets, as well as a large number of stars, principally double stars. The observations were made with the utmost care and accuracy, and the results are of great value to astronomers. The book also contains a detailed description of the instruments used, and of the methods of observation employed. The author's insights on astronomy in 1842 provide a valuable resource of historical data for further study. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N° de réf. du vendeur 9781332787913_0
