The author then goes on to discuss the controversy over the selection and approval of these lands, explaining how some of them were surrendered and other lands located in lieu thereof. The book also includes a discussion of the leasing of seminary lands, as well as the duties and remuneration of the agents in each county responsible for the management of these lands. The author concludes by emphasizing the great value of these lands to the State of Florida and urging the adoption of policies that will ensure their preservation and wise use.
