The study's primary aim was to identify invertebrate food organisms of the commercially important king crab, Paralithodes camtschatica. Surveys were conducted at 20 to mile intervals, with the majority of the invertebrate catch being taken by otter trawl with the occasional use of a dredge for deeper samples. The author presents a list of species of pelecypods, gastropods (exclusive of nudibranchs), barnacles, decapod crustaceans, tunicates, and the majority of echinoderms found on the Continental Shelf of the eastern Bering Sea during these surveys.
