Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book explores the phenomena of comets, particularly the enigmatic tails that extend behind them. The author argues that these tails are not solid objects, as previously believed, but rather consist of an extremely rare, vaporous atmosphere composed of particles that are mutually repellent. This repellency is similar to the behavior of air particles, which expand infinitely in the absence of external force. The author further proposes that the Sun's atmosphere plays a crucial role in shaping and directing these cometary tails, leading to their distinctive appearance. This book provides a comprehensive analysis of these celestial phenomena, offering a deeper understanding of the composition and behavior of comets and their place within the solar system. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N° de réf. du vendeur 9781332992331_0
